I have included the floor plans so you have an idea of the layout of the house. (Also because I just love floor plans!) It is interesting to see that the kitchen is separate from the family room, a trend that I am seeing more of. Also, notice how much square footage is taken up with the long hall and the large foyer. I would have tried to incorporate a butlers pantry and small office niche somewhere.
The main foyer was beautiful and set the tone for the rest of the house.
Gorgeous staircase. The drapes went from the top floor ceiling, down to the basement floor!
I loved everything about the living room.
The details on the pillows and curtains were gorgeous.
The black custom mural wallpaper in the dining area was interesting.
The powder room floor was stunning.
The conservatory had floor to ceiling windows on two sides. This is a photo of the third wall which had mirror installed to mimic a window. Great idea for privacy or if the view is less than perfect.
The large tree you see in the mirror was actually planted right into the floor.
The kitchen was very pretty to look at, but I am not sold on the practicality of it.
Interesting use of brass and notice the collection of vintage toasters.
Pretty awesome stove.
Loved the thick counter and the glossy island.
Cozy family room.
More beautiful trim.
Master Bedroom
Master bath floor was one of my favourite things about the house.
Upstairs hall office.
Sweet little nursery with lots of original art.
Bunk Room.
Loved the ship lapped paneled walls.
Teen room.
Basement craft room.
Basement media room.
Come back tomorrow for a list of paint colours!
